When BenQ asked me to review their new EX3203R monitor, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The other BenQ monitors I’ve reviewed were all amazing monitors that easily turned me into a huge BenQ fan, especially the EX3501R 35″ Curved Ultrawide Monitor. I use that monitor every day now and absolutely LOVE it! So what could the new EX3203R bring that’s new and exciting? I mean, seriously… it’s just another monitor, right?  Well, I was pleasantly surprised that yet another monitor from BenQ surpassed my expectations and definitely impressed.

Here’s what I like about the EX2303R;

  • The screen size is huge providing me with ample space for my computer desktop making it easier to view large spreadsheets, work in photoshop and view long timelines in video editing software. I also like that I can have multiple windows open across the screen, which is very helpful when reviewing or comparing documents – and I tend to do that a lot.
  • I spend a lot of time starting at my computer screen in the work that I do, and with BenQ’s Eye-Care Technology, I didn’t seem to feel as much eye strain or fatigue as I did with my older monitors. This is because the monitor features low blue-light and flicker-free technology, as well as “Brightness Intelligence” where it can automatically adjust the screen brightness and colour temperature according to your abient light levels and environment. Where I found this especially useful is when I’m working in a room with large windows and the ambient light changes with the daylight (from day to night).
  • The monitor is being marketed as a gaming monitor with some impressive technical performance, and it seems to perform very well in other general applications as well with great picture quality, colours, resolution and brightness.
  • I love the curved screen! I find that it’s more comfortable to look at especially at such a large size.
  • The monitor itself is really a nice looking monitor with a small outer bezel, strong heavy base that’s very sturdy, and with some basic height and tilt adjustments as well.
