Download the free TALKABOUT App and connect your smartphone via Bluetooth and you can share your current location and send messages, while off the cellular grid. You can also prepare for adventures ahead by searching area maps using the app. Once the specific area is selected it can be downloaded in a variety of different map formats and shared with the group to help prepare. Additionally, the app allows you to control radio settings directly from the comfort of your smartphone. The T800 is weatherproof and features a flashlight and access to seven NOAA weather channels. It has range of up to 35 miles.
